The Warriors beat the Blazers in a final game 5 and will move on to the western conference finals. Will the warriors make it back to the finals?
Game 4 and Stephan Curry is back in the lineup. Curry was limited to 25 mins on the floor but when the backup point guard went out Steph had to play more even with his healing ankle. Starting off very slow Curry was a horrible 0 for 9 from the 3 point line before the fourth where he then made 5 threes and finished the game with 40 points to defeat the Blazers.
Game three took a turn as the Warriors lose their first loss to the Blazers. The Blazers star Damian Lillard had an outstanding 40 points. It was not all about Lillard although. The whole Blazers team stepped up in a critical game 3 and over matched the star power of Klay Thompon and Draymond Green who scored a total of 72 together. Thompson 35 Green 37
With Stephan Curry out for the past two games the Warriors have looked to their other stars in Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Thompson and Green combined for a total of 40 points. Thompson with 37 and Green with 23. Game two the duo also lead in scoring, Thompson with 27 and Green with 17.
Stephan Curry has yet again won another MVP award. This makes it back to back MVP's for Stephan Curry. With the western semi finals, western finals, and finals still to go, do you think the Warriors and their MVP get back to the finals and win back to back NBA championships?
The Warriors easily get by the first round of the playoffs against the Houston Rockets. Steph Curry had hurt himself in game 2 and again game 3 keeping him out of game 4 and 5 and the next two games of the next round.
